May 14, 2020. #3. i just made a post asking about this, my car has an egr delete done to it, but it looks like they removed nothing more than the egr pipe itself and put a block off plate on the egr cooler and the bottom of the "shudder valve" as you guys seem to call it. its actually a vacuum shut off device.
Instead has 3 'heater nipples' on the coolant flange with the thermostat. Neat to have (assuming that after the EGR delete, the engine will take even LONGER to warm up (if ever). Ihave done the EGR delete on a friends passat and a polo and my Girl's Mom's G4 tdi and never had any issues. Only the passat gooied us a ECL or something fault to say that something is wrong with the cat. wNnLK1.
